It’s Friday, June 12, 2026: With temperatures again in the upper 80s, summer has landed with a vengeance. Unfortunately for the kids of the Borough’s southeast, while the season has returned, their beloved splash park has not. Once again, the water is off at John O. Green Park. The Borough has rigged a temporary solution it hopes will get kids through the season, but long-term plans appear to be in limbo.

Also, could West Chester Borough own (another) piece of West Goshen property? It’s looking like a real possibility as Aqua looks to rid itself of the Fern Hill Reservoir. We look at what’s going on and how we got here. Plus, West Goshen explores a gas-powered leaf blower ban, Henderson’s Girls Lacrosse team is heading to the state finals, and a bumpy road ahead – summer paving will likely be delayed until the fall.
