Now that Gay Street is officially under Borough control, officials will not have to seek approval from PennDOT. This gives officials the flexibility to start earlier and end later – which they will take advantage of in 2023.
Mayday Coffee Opens in West Chester
When you walk in the doors of Mayday coffee – you are greeted by a lot of white, beige, and peach. On your left is a mini-shop stocked with curated gifts. Behind that, the espresso bar and pour-over coffee area. In the back, is an event space that will be available to rent. Anyway, maybe it’s the peach but it doesn’t exactly feel like West Chester which, I am to learn, is the point.
