Round up of new development in West Chester
New condos, townhouses and apartment buildings:
- Carriage homes on Dean Street. The future five luxury carriage homes that will live behind the Claude Raines Manor on Dean and Church Streets are being framed and marketed. Coming soon, their Zillow listing says, at a price tag of $659,900
- Daily Local Apartments have been downsized to condominiums. What started as a 325-unit apartment complex was reconfigured to 275-units then completely redesigned into a 60-unit townhouse development. The impact on traffic at that busy intersection of Bradford Ave and 162 has been a concern.
Highly anticipated grand openings are on the horizon:
- Appalachian Brewing Company (now open according the website) is holding its official grand opening on Sept. 19. In case you missed it ABC is replacing BoxCar Brewing Company which left the E. Market Street location earlier this year. This is the brewers’ eighth brewpub location. Join for free samples and half-price entries.
- Lulu Casita’s, the kid-friendly, parent-approved coffee-house and community gathering space is celebrating their new West Chester location Sept 15. The new location is located on High Street, roughly across from Iron Hill.
