Patios are now open and under the sunshine of the past weekend it was a beautiful site. However, even with restaurants squeezing tables wherever they can, space is limited. One option being floated is to close Gay Street from Matlack to Darlington Street to allow for more dining. Two weeks ago, Borough Council, voted to move forward with planning - now, it’s time to review the proposal.
