Halloween Candy Collection Sites

Now that the sugar rush has subsided, the kids have moved onto the next looming holiday, and even your co-workers have eaten their fill — what do you do with all this candy?

Before you toss it out or store it until Easter there are several organizations and companies in the area willing to take it off your hands and put it to good use.

Halloween Candy Drop Off Locations in West Chester:

Pocopson Elementary School
1105 Pocopson Road,
West Chester PA

Pocopson elementary school is collecting candy to donate to troops overseas. You can leave any unopened candy in the box in their vestibule. They are accepting donations through November 7.

Hillsdale Elementary School
725 W. Market St.
West Chester PA

Hillsdale elementary school is collecting candy on behalf of Soldier’s Angels. They are trying to top the 302.8 pounds collected last year. Candy can be sent in with children or dropped off at the front office.

West Chester YMCA
605 Airport Rd.
West Chester PA

The YMCA is also collecting candy for the troops. Simply drop off your unwanted candy at the front desk. Collections accepted for a week after Halloween.

Brandywine ACE Pet and Farm
1150 Pocopson Road
West Chester PA

The Brandywine Ace is accepting donations on behalf of Soldiers’ Angels, a nonprofit organization supporting active duty troops and veterans. They are accepting donations through November 17. Perfect for those people who take a little longer to tire of the candy.

Halloween Candy Buy Back Programs:

Briglia Dental Group

West Chester PA

Briglia Dental Group is hosting their 8th annual Halloween Candy Buy Back program. Dr. Ron Briglia will purchase the unopened candy for a $1/pound up to five pounds. Must be 14 or under to participate in the buy back program. You can, of course, opt to simply donate the candy. Donations are welcome from all ages. All donations will be sent to the Stockings for Soldiers program in Delaware. Briglia and team are hoping to collect more than 4000 lbs of candy this year to send to the troop.  

Monkey Fish Toys
662 Downingtown Pike
West Chester PA

Monkey Fish Toys is offering $1 in store credit for every pound candy donated at their West Chester location. The candy will be sent to troops via Soldiers’ Angels. Candy accepted through November 2.
