The Easter Bunny Needs Help. Get in on a West Chester tradition and help stuff Easter eggs for the annual hunt in Everhart Park. This year’s event will take place on March 24 and is open to kids 2-9. A round of applause for Side Bar. This signature West Chester restaurant was recently named Best Brews and Food by County Lines magazine. Looking for an excuse to help them celebrate? They are hosting a very special brunch on March 18 featuring some very limited local brews. But really any day will do.
Have a great idea for a business? Share it. You could win up to $2500 as part of the Annual West Chester University Business Idea Competition. You can compete as an individual or a team. Whiskey Club (if book club just isn’t your thing.) I’m not a whiskey drinker myself, but this almost makes me wish I was. There is just something appealing about cut glass, a polished bar and some lively discussion. Interested? Meet at 7 p.m. at Kildare’s the second Wednesday of the month. There will be curated whiskey flights and experts on hand to help guide the discussion. Tickets are $12.61 and available through their website.
